We've met at a cafe near their offices first a couple of times as well as Zoom call with US-based manager. They partially knew me by association and as a veteran to veteran - we had a lot of common colleagues. The interview was around how I view the tech domain, what kind of processes and initiatives I was involved in and what kind of experience I bring to the table, wasn't very inquisitive but got into details that felt unnecessary for the stage we were in, more like one the interviewers tried to get more intel and grab some ideas for his own. Following that they notified me that the role will not be a good fit and I'm beyond what they are looking for this position in terms of experience and expectations from the role.
