I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Panera Bread (Troy, MI) in Aug 2015
Interview
Started with a cold call/Online application to a posting for an "urgent" need to fill positions. Application included personality quiz/"what would you do" type questions. About 2 days after applying, a manager called and scheduled an interview essentially ASAP. 2 successive interviews, just sitting down at a table in a corner of the dining room of the cafe and talking with managers. One with a shift supervisor/manager and one with the store's general manager, which included a surprise bout with a second shift supervisor.

They asked basic questions like how many hours I want a week and if it was my first job or not. They gave me information about their background and how long they have worked there.
