I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Panera Bread (San Diego, CA) in Jun 2011
Interview
Typical low level, nothing technical. They are just looking for someone who can do basic math and does not mind manual labor. Good for high school students, Easy to make to assistant manager but takes years to reach manager. They hire a lot during right before the holidays.
The process was pretty simple and easy. I applied online and then came in for an in person interview that was like 15 minutes long. Was offered the position the next day.
