Very straight forward as I was already working for the company as an insider. I had already developed a good standing relationship with current managerial staff and with corporate management. I had been working for the company for a few years before the I applied for manager.
It was a short interview, I went in applying for one thing and was given a higher position. The interview didn’t cause any nerves due to the shortness of it.

Was called for an interview later in the week went for the first interview with the GM then came back a few days later for an interview with the district manager.

Pretty simple. Manager asked a few questions. You need previous experience at Papa's before being able to be a shift manager. There is a process where you are reviewed by a team of district managers. They evaluate you pizza skills and knowledge of the business.
