Applied for the job on Indeed and received a response in 24 hours stating that they would be interested in discussing the job opportunity. I went for the interview and it went quite well. I was told that I would receive information about joining date in next two weeks as they are trying to hire multiple candidates and are currently in the process of interviewing them.
I followed up with them via email 2 weeks later, only to be told that position was placed on hold as they are interviewing other candidates and that I should receive a response from them soon. A week later, I reached out to them via email and I was basically ghosted.
Just so you know, this is considered to be unprofessional and something that I have never witnessed in other companies before. It should not take more than a minute to reveal your outcome or decision. I hope you do not treat your future candidates in similar fashion. Anyone planning to apply here, go through this review carefully, weigh your options and then make an informed decision.
Message : Think of this as a feedback and try to ruminate what areas could have been handled well. Have the decency to respond to candidates who have shown interest in working for your company, it doesn't take more than a minute to email someone. Respect an individual's time.
