I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pasta Pomodoro (Sunnyvale, CA)
Interview
I submitted my application in person, and was immediately given a day to come back for the in-person interview by the general manager. The interview was based primarily on my previous serving experience and food/wine knowledge. The whole process went smoothly and the manger was very relaxed, which made the whole experience much less stressful than expected,
I applied in-person. I interviewed at Pasta Pomodoro (San Jose, CA) in Oct 2011
Interview
Very short and easy going. I was told they were firing old employees and hiring new and that I would be coming into a hostile staff that didn't want newcomers. It was rough at first, but once all the bad apples were gone it was a much nicer environment. In the interview I was told that I would need to work my way up. I was also told that I needed to be a team player.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pasta Pomodoro (San Jose, CA) in Jul 2008
Interview
Called after submitting resume. Brief phone interview followed by two on-site interviews with management. Standard interview for a serving position but the location was highly competitive. They tend to base hiring on how you will work with the current staff so it's a good idea to have a friend or two that work there.
