Pathfinders Advertising and Marketing Group interview questions

I went through a pre-screening interview for a marketing manager role and was declined without ever being given a proper interview. That was frustrating, especially considering my background and how closely my experience aligned with the role. I have several years of experience as a Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, and Creative Director, and I currently manage multiple social media pages—one of which has 46,000 followers, which is significantly larger than Pathfinders’ own social presence. My content regularly sees 10,000 to 100,000 views per post, with hundreds of likes and strong engagement, driven by consistent strategy, analytics, and hands-on execution. The process felt rushed and dismissive, as if my experience and results weren’t fully explored or taken seriously. For a position that emphasizes ownership, autonomy, and a “builder’s mindset,” it was surprising not to be given the opportunity to discuss past performance, leadership experience, or how I approach growth and marketing systems in a more meaningful interview. Overall, the experience left me feeling overlooked and undervalued. I’d encourage the company to take a closer look at real-world results and experience when evaluating senior-level candidates, as strong marketers may be getting filtered out far too early.

The interview was professional and well-structured, and it provided valuable insight into the role and responsibilities. It helped me better understand the opportunity with the company, and I genuinely enjoyed the overall interview process.
