Smooth interview process. Recruiter answered any and all questions I had, and an in-person interview was set up and I interviewed with key people I would be working with. Asked basic questions around my experience, and how I'd handle certain situations. It's good to be able to share your thought process when thinking through a problem.

Question 1
Give us an example of a difficult situation involving a customer and how you resolved it.
There was an application, a few phone interviews, a written interview (described below), and an in person interview day with three separate individuals who interview based on different competencies. This was in the past, now likely the in person interviews are by zoom, with the preliminary still via phone.

Question 1
They wrote up a sample customer email in which the customer was quite angry.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at PatientPop (Santa Monica, CA) in Jan 2020
Interview
The process started with a short phone interview. They then requested that I complete a series of essay-style questions, mainly related to customer services. They then offered me an in-person interview. This interview lasted about two hours and I was interviewed by three different people. About a week after the interview, they called me and informed me that they would like to offer me the position, but had to wait to get approval to hire on more people. This is where things went very downhill.
Originally, they told me that they would have an answer by the end of the week. The next training session was three weeks after that discussion, so they told me it should be good to go soon. One week turned into two weeks turned into an indefinite answer. I was set to start a coding program, so I informed them that I would need to postpone starting the program in case of starting a new job. They told me that they definitely wanted to hire me and that I should do what I needed to do.
I postponed going back to school for an extra two months because I was told that they wanted to hire me. However, after a month of back and forth, I stopped being given any updates. It has now been two months since I've interviewed and the people who once said "we definitely want to offer you the position, we just need to get the approval!" have completely forgotten about my existence.
Overall, I've had an extremely negative experience and put my life on hold because of false promises. I would not recommend pursuing this company.
