      The interview process was lengthy and, unfortunately, did not feel respectful of candidates’ time. After completing the Ribbon AI interview, I spoke with six different team members over several weeks. As the process progressed, many of the conversations became increasingly redundant, with significant overlap in topics and questions. After scheduling what was described as the executive interview, it was canceled one day prior with the explanation that the role had already been filled. At the time of writing, the position remained publicly listed, which added to the confusion around the decision and overall process. If there were candidates further along in the pipeline, that possibility should have been communicated transparently so applicants could make informed decisions about their time and expectations. From a candidate perspective, investing over a month in interviews only to have the role closed at the final stage was frustrating and disappointing. Greater transparency around hiring timelines, pipeline status, and decision-making would significantly improve the candidate experience.

      The first interview was a RibbonAI interview where an AI agent interviewed me with camera required to be on. Received a rejection soon after. The whole experience felt pretty shallow and dystopian, zero human contact, including the emails.

      I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Paxos in Nov 2025

      The interview process was very extensive for a technical support role. I did 5 rounds of interviews over the course of a couple weeks and many of the same questions were asked on each. Everyone was very nice however and genuinely seemed happy to be working at the company. I received positive feedback from everyone during the interview itself but ultimately I was rejected with no indication as to why. If candidates are expected to invest their time this heavily into the interviews, a simple why explanation would be immensely helpful. The position is still up on their job board several months later so I'm unsure if they are actually hiring for the role or using up candidates time.
