I did a phone interview and then a group interview. The entire process took about a week. They asked very basic questions during the group interview and we took turns answering.

Question 1
Explain a situation in which you handled a dissatisfied customer?
In person interview with the store manager. Super easy. Few questions about your skills and then the manager will test you with a simulation exercice. The manager will give you a shoe and you'll have to sell it to her.
Friendly interviewer who was very kind and courteous about the process and next steps to get hired. I ended up accepting another job and did not proceed with a second interview.

I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Payless ShoeSource (Saginaw, MI) in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview was easy and I got the job. I shared my prior sales experience, my availability. I was offered part time work because I was in college. I quickly was able to gain additional hours working across multiple locations in other cities within short driving distance.
