I applied online. I interviewed at Penguin Random House
Interview
The interview process started with a phone interview then followed with four different in person interviews. During the interviews, questions were more personality based. As this position is an assistant role, the interviewers were concerned with how well candidates would fit in with the team, both personality and work habit wise. Although each interview was very professional, the entire process took about a month and it took a very long time to hear back about their final decision.

Question 1
Not too many tricky questions. Besides personality questions, I was asked to describe my management style. That was a little difficult to answer because it's hard to put into words.

Interview
A relatively short, and to-the-point phone interview with a recruiter from the company. Interview was less than 15 minutes and I was asked more about my interest in publishing rather than skills that qualified me for the position.
