I said we were really close and looking forward to understanding the package. That night, received an email saying they (DM/TN) wanted to bring me on and came up with a package that matched my expectations -- and that we should talk the next day. The next day came and TN said the CFO's grandson was injured and unavailable for signoff. The next day came, another push. Monday afternoon, TN called to let me know they're going another way. I basically drew out the organization's strategy in a presentation so that they could hire cheaper talent. Lesson learned, if someone (TN) seems untrustworthy, follow that feeling.
