I would like to share my experience with this recruitment process, which unfortunately turned out to be the most disappointing I have encountered so far.
The process included three interviews, one in-person meeting, and a project assessment followed by a technical discussion to review my knowledge. Throughout the entire process, I received multiple phone calls expressing strong interest and clear indications that I was the preferred candidate and that we would likely move forward.
Based on this consistent feedback, I was under the impression that an offer was imminent. When I informed them that I had received another offer and would appreciate a final decision, I was told they would “do their best” to send me an answer by the following day. However, five days later, I received a generic automated rejection email with no explanation or feedback.
The lack of transparency and the sudden shift in communication were particularly disappointing, especially after the repeated verbal assurances that they wanted to proceed. While I understand that hiring decisions can change, clear and respectful communication is essential in such a lengthy and demanding process.
Fortunately, I had already accepted another position. However, this experience left me with a negative impression of the company’s recruitment practices and overall professionalism.
