Submitted a CV and was invited to the assessment centre. Communications were intitally very efficient. Was asked to prepare a presentation about 1. What makes you perform at your best, give 2 examples, and 2. Give a plan for what to post on the social media for 2 days. These tasks gave an overview of what would have been expected in the job role as well as giving an insight into the kind of person you were. We also had to complete about 3 tests that involved logic, numerical, linguistic (which involved writing captions for about 30 instagram photos they had previously posted). Wasn't expecting these and would have been nice to have been told in advance what we were going to be doing throughout the day. An overall positive experience and the team were friendly. Received an email from the CEO a few days later saying we would hear back in the next week or so, a month later I emailed to retract my application as it had been too long and I had accepted another position at a larger company. I have a friend who also attended the assessment centre and she wasn't given a job offer or any feedback as to why. The lack of communication over the month of waiting has left an overall bad taste in my mouth about the company.
