Applied and contacted within a few days to do a phone interview. Had the phone interview that went very well and was scheduled for an in person interview. Interviewed with manager and a current office coordinator. Interview seemed to go well and lasted about 15 or 20 minutes. Questions asked was basic and manager said all potential employees was asked the same questions. At the end of the interview I asked if they wanted references and the reply was they didn’t need them. I asked for the next steps in the process or if they would have a third interview round. They said they were confident that they would make a decision by the day. It has been 3 weeks and no contact. I guess I was ghosted but the position is still listed. I wish employers would take the time to at least tell you no or they went with someone else. It’s very unprofessional and I’ll never apply to them again or even recommend anyone I know in the medical field to apply. Employers should at least make some sort of contact with the people they had in for interviews. I guess I should consider myself lucky if this is how they treat perspective employees I wander how they treat employees?
