I applied online and someone reached out to schedule a phone screen with the Recruiter. During the call with the Recruiter, I was asked about my experience as it relates to the role. The Recruiter scheduled me for a video interview with the Hiring Manager two days later. The interview went well. I went over my experience and gave various examples. I didn’t hear anything back for over two months. I reached out to the Hiring Manager directly to follow up and he said the role was still open and they were discussing things. About a week later, I received the generic email saying I wasn’t selected.
