I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Pew Research Center in Apr 2023
Interview
The interview process took about six weeks. I applied within a few days of the job posting and received a first round interview offer about two weeks later. The first round was an interview with HR to get more background on my skills and interests in the company and the specific position. Four days later, I was invited to a two-part final round interview and to complete an assessment. The interviews were with staff members of various levels, all the way up to team Director. These questions were to learn more about my skills, how I had applied them in past work or academic settings, and whether my interests and abilities truly aligned with what they were looking for. I think they really want strongly demonstrated alignment on this latter point.
