I applied online. I interviewed at Phoenix Zoo (Phoenix, AZ) in Jan 2023
Interview
Phone call screening from HR, took about 10 minutes. Questions relating to the job itself. Then they arrange a zoom call with the head of the department you'd be working under. That interview was about 45 minutes. And then you conduct another interview with the team you are working with, which is also the same duration. And then if your references check out, you'll get the job offer in roughly 2 days.

Question 1
If you saw a piece of trash on the ground, what would you do? It was a completely irrelevant question to what your job will be. To be fair, a lot of questions were irrelevant to my job. But makes sense why they ask when they like to pawn off responsibilities that are not really your job.
For the seasonal position the interview was done in a group setting. They focused on roleplay, seeking people's views points and problem solving skills. They did this in 2 smaller groups so it wasn't you one on one with the interviewers until the one on one at the end.

Given this scenario what would you say to the guest:
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Phoenix Zoo in Feb 2023
Interview
The two interviewers were nice, but the number of questions asked was by far the most I’ve ever been asked in an interview. They were easy for the most part, but after a while it became anxiety-inducing. They asked upwards of two dozen questions. It felt more like an interrogation rather than a two-sided discussion which made the interview very stilted.
