I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Phunware (Austin, TX)
Interview
After a phone screen, I met with two managers, we talked about their product offerings and the company's design process. We also discussed my qualifications. Pretty standard stuff. At the end of the interview, I was told by the manager who would have been my boss that he was ready to make an offer. He just needed to make the arrangements with HR and he would get back to me in a couple days. A couple days passed and I didn't hear back. After another couple days I emailed him and asked for a status update. He responded with a generic email saying the company was not interested in making me an offer. Telling a candidate that you are ready to make an offer and then never getting back to them is pretty unprofessional.
