Interview
Started with an online application including a personality test and sample scenarios where you are given a dilemma and choose how you would react. After a few days the management called to schedule an informal group interview which included a question and answer session and a couple role play selling scenarios. It was awkward but the management was very nice and guided us through it.

What is one time you experienced exceptional service at a store? What accomplishment are you most proud of? How would you sell a piece of furniture? Are you comfortable selling the Pier 1 Credit Card? How would you sell the Pier 1 Credit Card?

Interview
It was about 30 minutes long. The manager asked me basic questions about myself and the job. He wanted to know my availability and if I were able to unload the truck due to the boxes being heavy.
Simple and transparent process. After applying, was asked to come in to interview in person. Interview was professional and took around 45 minutes. Heard back from hiring manager within a week.
