I applied online. I interviewed at Pilgrims Food Masters (Hyde, England) in Nov 2025
Interview
First called to organise the interview, but was given no further info at that time (I'd usually expect during this call to discuss the role further and explain the interview process), it could have been an email invite. The interview was online with two HR colleagues. I was ghosted after the interview. 2nd stage was an invite to the factory in Hyde to meet stakeholders.
I interviewed at Pilgrims Food Masters (Enniskillen, Northern Ireland)
Interview
This interview was Competency based and took place online with two interviewers, It definitely had the most questions (competency) then others with two per each company value. Was not a bad experience but I am awful at interviews so

Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to rephrase something
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Pilgrims Food Masters in Mar 2023
Interview
There was an initial video interview and then once this was approved, you would get to stage 2 where you are in a competitive assessment centre (online). The assessment centre consisted of other graduates who applied to the same/other roles within Pilgrims Food Masters. At times during the assessment centre, we would be competing/acting like we could lead the team and showing our assessors how we stand out. I don't think this type of assessment centre structure works in the real world of working together as it promotes competition and rivalry amongst one another. I didn't understand how "acting" like you were the one who talked the most meant that you could pass onto the next stage interview. No personalised feedback was given for this interview process despite lots of preparation, video interviews recorded and sent, and a test centre assessment. Please work on this as graduates work hard and prepare thoroughly for these types of assessments.
