I went through four in-person interviews with this company in Petah Tikva, invested a huge amount of time, energy, and effort, and treated the entire process seriously and professionally. After that, they even contacted my references, who gave excellent feedback — and then they simply ghosted me.
What makes this even worse is that I followed up with them multiple times asking what was going on with the process. Each time, I was told they would update me soon, that I had been great / excellent throughout all stages, and that they were debating between me and one other candidate. Since then, almost a month has passed since the last time I reached out, and there has been zero response. No update, no rejection, no closure — just silence.
The interview process itself was also quite demanding. One of the interviews included a discussion about how to design a real-time payment architecture and fraud detection system. Another exercise involved coding with AI tools like Cursor, building a Ticketmaster-style mini website in their offices, along with more general questions about code, scaling, AI, and product.
This is an embarrassingly unprofessional, disrespectful, and frankly shameless way to treat candidates. If a company is willing to drag someone through four in-person interviews, practical exercises, deep technical discussions, and a reference check, the absolute minimum they can do is communicate the outcome. Completely disappearing after all of that shows a serious lack of integrity and a shocking level of disrespect for people’s time and effort.
Honestly, this behavior says a lot about the company culture — and none of it is good. Candidates deserve transparency, professionalism, and basic human decency. What happened here was the exact opposite.
