I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at PitchBook
Interview
The interview was ok, kind of disorganized. The people I were originally supposed to meet decided to take their time walking back from another meeting and made me wait 20 min. Then the recruiter came back into the room to tell me that they would not be making it and had two random employees conduct the interview. They were very kind and professional. Overall it was a ok experience. Did not get the job, rather a messy email with no professional courtesy, saying that they moved on to other clients.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Talk about you knowledge about what venture capitalist companies do.
I applied online. I interviewed at PitchBook (Mumbai) in Aug 2022
Interview
The HR at Pitchbook Mumbai is pathetic. I first received a mail from HR saying that you are selected, and later I receive a mail from her saying that you will have a different date of joining which will be confirmed. Yesterday I got a mail saying that the business requirements are fulfilled so please look for other opportunities. If you did not want me to join then why are you giving hopes to candidates in such ways.
The HR is very unprofessional, as in the mails she always says don't send follow up emails or call for follow up, but isn't this the work of HR to answer the questions of any potential candidates.
