Interview
My experience with Pivotal was, without a doubt, the most disappointing among all the recruiting companies I encountered during my job search. Interacting with four of their recruiters revealed a consistent pattern of poor communication and lack of 'protocols'. Initially, the conversations with these recruiters seemed promising—they appeared interested and friendly. However, after two of these initial discussions, I received no further communication from them, despite my follow-up attempts. Two instances stood out as particularly frustrating. In the first, I was misled about the seniority of a role, leading to even the HR representative of the hiring company calling me before the interview and expressing surprise at my application. After deciding to withdraw, I attempted to address the misunderstanding with the Pivotal recruiter in a courteous call where she was clearly annoyed and angry and then a follow-up email, which was never even replied to. In the second instance, I progressed to the second stage of interviews and was assured by the recruiter that they were impressed with me and would schedule a third interview with the CEO. However, never happened, despite numerous follow-up attempts via LinkedIn and email, the recruiter chose not to respond or provide any explanation. While we, as candidates, can handle rejection and understand when a company finds a better fit or changes plans, the behavior of these 'recruiters' is entirely unacceptable.

Interview
There is a 2 stage interview process - The first stage is with the managers/directors, which is just a detailed chat about your experience and what you are looking for. The 2nd stage was a presentation about where you see yourself in the company moving forward.
