I had a poor experience. They don't have their act together.
It took more than 2 months between the first and the second interview.
The second one was an on-site and scheduled for 3 hours. There wasn't enough information provided about the requirements or the programming excercise.
It so happens that when I get to the place after 2 hours of commute, the interview panel is remote and/or not in the office.
I got booted after the first 45 mins coz I didn't have the skills. My resume clearly states what I know and don't know. And why did you invite me on-site if I didn't have the skills?
Btw, if the skills determination could have been made over a video call, why call me to the office in the first place?!
Of course the HR lady was kind enough to leave a voicemail(she is not in the office either) and apologized for the missteps and wasting my time.
I understand that the skills requirements were hard, but the way the interview was cut short was not professional.
Please learn something from other tech employers about how to conduct interviews.
I have never experienced anything like this in my 15 years of career.
