I applied online. I interviewed at Point72 (New York, NY) in May 2022
Interview
seven 30min back to backs on site with a 30 min lunch break and 1hr long presentation in the end. the interviewers all come sit down in the conference room and evaluate your performance. many were on phones and they were probably chatting on their communications platform about the candidates. interviewers also most probably skimmed thru your resume 5 min before your interview and one even came in with it scratched from his pocket.

Question 1
Standard behaviors. how do you stay up to date with the markets and why finance (for someone coming from non traditional backgrounds)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Point72 (New York, NY)
Interview
Very through interview process, around 5 rounds. First with a hirevue, followed up with a recruiter call, followed up with another call with a dept head, followed up by a write up, followed up by a superday (that revolved around speaking to like 8 different people and then a presentation/grilling session). You gotta know your stuff! People I spoke to were nice, but process was intensive and a little draining. But that's expected if you're working here.

Question 1
Do you have experience in qualitative research? What are your goals? What is a time you went above and beyond for research?
The process began with a HireVue consisting of two behavioral questions, followed by a call with a recruiter focused on fit and motivation for the role. I was then interviewed by a Sector Head, which felt one-sided and disengaged.
