Interview
The interview process for the summer camp counselor position was a refreshing experience. Right from the start, the interviewer exuded warmth and hospitality, creating an inviting atmosphere that eased any nerves. They skillfully navigated through a series of behavioral and situational questions, allowing me to showcase my strengths and experiences relevant to the role. The questions were thought-provoking, providing insight into the challenges and dynamics of working at a summer camp. Overall, the interview felt more like a conversation than a formal interrogation, which made it enjoyable and allowed me to authentically present myself.

Question 1
"Can you describe a time when you had to intervene in a conflict between campers? How did you handle the situation, and what was the outcome?"
I had 3 different interviews with different levels of the camp staff before getting the job. They asked many questions about your ability to think of games on the spot and how to keep children engaged without a schedule.
