I had successfully cleared the first two rounds of interviews, and during a conversation with HR, I was informed that I would need to visit the office for further collaboration with the team. It was communicated that no laptop or equipment would be necessary, and after this collaborative session, I would receive an offer letter.
However, upon arriving at the office, I was surprised to be subjected to another technical interview, for which I had not been given any prior notice. This was particularly unexpected given that I had already completed a 3-hour technical interview in the second round. The lack of clear communication regarding this additional technical round made the experience confusing and frustrating. Moreover, the questions posed during this interview seemed unstructured and did not appear to align with my previous technical assessments.
I believe that candidates should be clearly informed about each stage of the interview process to avoid confusion and ensure a smooth experience. It would be greatly beneficial if the process could be streamlined and communicated more effectively. This would not only enhance the candidate experience but also reflect positively on the company’s recruitment process.
