      Aerospace Engineer Interview

      20 Jan 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Canavoy, PE
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (Canavoy, PE)

      Interview

Relatively simple and challenging, lots of technical question and experience but overall relatively simple and the process was smooth. That is for a job as AE in PW I think 100% will give it a try again overall will be good and it was base there with bus

      East Hartford, CT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience

      Application

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (East Hartford, CT) in Apr 2012

      Interview

Full day interview. Was very tired by the end of day. They take you out for dinner on prior day and lunch on day of interview. Few technical question - just looking for analytical thinking. If you are a recent grad and have a high GPA, it works in your favor. If not, show off your analytical thinking and projects.

      Anonymous employee

      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Pratt & Whitney (East Hartford, CT) in Aug 2010

      Interview

Started with a phone interview. Once that was okay'ed. They scheduled a on-site full day interview with me. A majority of that time were interviews with people I'll be working with but there were some unnecessary interviews with my bosses 's boss and my bosses's boss's boss. Overall it was a good experience. The interviews had some technical parts. They weren't insanely hard but they definitely wanted to see if you knew the basics.
