I interviewed at Preferred Mutual (New Berlin, NY)
Interview
Phone interview, typical behavioral questions. very structured. Interviewer was very nice, but it had a robotic feel to it. Not very personal. Efficiency would be a good word to describe it.
Interviewed with Human Resources personnel first via phone screening and moved on to virtual interview rounds with the team manager and department Vice President. Subsequent communication was with Human Resources.

Question 1
Can you speak to your background and prior experience?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Preferred Mutual (New Berlin, NY) in Jan 2012
Interview
I was interviewed for multiple entry level positions and with multiple departments and Supervisors. There was a quick phone interview just to touch base but, the follow up from application to phone call was excellent. I applied for well over 20 jobs during this time period and was only called for follow up by PMIC. The day of the interview I was met by HR and we went through a quick and rather easy skills test and quick interview. I was then passed off to the hiring decision makers and I had further interviews with multiple Supervisors. The whole process took about 4 hours but, was thorough and very friendly. I felt as though they weren't interviewing me for my skills and knowledge as much as they were to see how my personality would mesh with the culture. I didn't realize that until after I was hired but, the people who work here are genuine human beings who care about one another and our customers.
