Phone Screen with recruiter from Corporate office - was contacted after initially applying for role by recruiter. The recruiter didn’t seem prepared with any “above-surface level” questions that could have been answered off reading my resume. In-person panel interviews with hiring manager and other stakeholders - consisted of two panels interviews with 4 people in each with different roles that worked with the position I applied. After the in-person panel interviews, I was taken for a tour of the facility. The reason for the negative review was the follow-through. I was told that I would hear back within a certain timeframe, but I ended up not hearing back. When I reached out to ask for an update, I didn’t get a response. I waited a few more days and reached out again and finally was told I wasn’t selected for the role. I understand if another candidate was selected for the role, but you would think that if you could have the courtesy to alert your finalist candidates they weren’t selected. This isn’t 2012 where people are beating down the door for jobs. There’s plenty of roles out there and it speaks to values when something as simple as a follow-up can’t be provided.
