I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at PrezLab (Amman) in Feb 2022
Interview
I applied online, I received an email for a virtual Zoom interview (scheduled for a week after); in the email, they said that they're moving forward to the next stage with my interview.
They showed interest, and said that they'll send a "copywriting test" for me to complete (It was a standard two-task test), I delivered it as requested two days after. I even wanted to showcase my value on the SEO part by carrying out an SEO research on the keywords related to the tasks they sent (in the countries they said they target).
Then, silence for a whole week. So I followed up with an email, and they replied with: They have changed their minds about this being a full time position and want to work with me on freelance basis. They asked me for an offer for a bunch of of tasks.
I sent it to them immediately.
Again, they go "radio silent" for another week. I thought we were at the final stage, so I sent an email asking them what's next.
And you have to understand, by that time, I have had invested considerable amount of time and energy communicating back and forth and delivering tasks and offers.
After my follow up email, I receive this extremely rude email saying that: I should stop the scheduled emails and follow ups from my side and that my rates are not acceptable for them, and that they have decided to "pursue another route".
It was a verry terrible and stressful experience; a company's hiring process is a reflection to its culture, unprofessionalism and disrespect of people's time; that's what one would expect working and applying to PrezLab
