      Network Administrator Interview

      5 Jun 2019
      Anonymous employee
      Salt Lake City, UT
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Pride Transport (Salt Lake City, UT) in Feb 2016

      Interview

First I had a phone interview with Lindsey in HR and just spoke for a while about what the job would be, and then discussed things like salary expectations and working hours. In the actual in Person interview though, I had a meeting with the then IT director and his boss, as well as another of the staff. We spoke about Pride and about the current infrastructure and also they asked many questions about what I was currently doing for work. This led us onto many subjects such as HA, Business continuity, virtualization, storage, linux administration.. It went on for quite a while and they were genuinely interested in all of it. I don't think I've been in an interview where the people seemed so excited to talk about things.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

It's been a while since the interview, but one thing they asked that I remember was about how it was that you could make an "always up" infrastructure.
