Interviewers seemed ill-prepared. Took me back to a room where I sat between 2 desks as each interviewer sat at their own desk. Odd and uncomfortable. Questions went back and forth between the 2; they weren't familiar with my resume. Although I had more than enough experience for the position, when I asked about the next steps in the interview process, I was told it could be weeks before I heard back as the corporate team were out of the office and I'd need to speak with them as well. If true, then why start scheduling interviews??? If not true, then fine, because at that point I was no longer interested anyway. Just wanted to give a heads up to anyone looking to interview... oh, also, the position has been reposted and had been posted for a while before I applied; that should have been my red flag, but it was close to home and didn't seem difficult. This is for a receptionist position and while I appreciate what comes with that as I've done it before, it's not rocket science. These companies need to get real.
