I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Procore Technologies in Mar 2023
Interview
The recruiter headhunted me for this role and suggested we'd do a 30 min phone screen process, so I scheduled the phone screen appointment through a link. The recruiter was late for the phone call but apologized, but throughout the phone screen process, she seemed distracted. Shortly after our conversation, the recruiter said I would receive some documents for an 'assignment' they wanted before an interview was scheduled. The assignment was to create a 3-day itinerary that was to be very realistic (the assignment had limited information provided), along with a summary describing my processes in assembling the itinerary and an outline of the internal resources I used. This was an ambitious request, and the turnaround was two business days. After I submitted the assignment, I was called to be scheduled for an interview. This time it was a new representative who was not very professional and said my appointment was at 3 pm and then sent me the confirmation email with a 1 pm time frame (central time, I guess, but that wasn't mentioned). I had my interview, and the hiring manager was a great person, and the interview was very relaxed. Although I wasn't selected to move forward with what would have been two additional interviews, the investment, and determination one puts into these interviews is a lot, only to receive a canned rejection email, which is dissapointing.

Question 1
How do you typically collaborate with your executives? How do you perform a quality assurance test? How do you build trust with your managers, peers, and executives, and how can they build trust with you?
I appreciate you sharing this insight and am sorry that your experience was negative. I will share this feedback with my team, but if there's anything else you'd like us to know, please reach out to me at employerfeedback@procore.com.

Interview
Fairly straightforward. 4 interviews Inc recruiters call. No trick questions. Show your enthusiasm for the company and demonstrate that you've done your research. Explain what skills you will bring onboard and how efficient you are! Don't wait to be asked a question and simply answer it...elaborate. By doing that, you're preempting the interviewer and literally blowing them away.

You have a varied background...can you explain why?

Interview
Interview process was in depth and had quite a few interviews to progress through but overall wasn't a bad experience. I think the interviews could have been cut down to two instead of four but that's just my opinion.
