      Content Manager Interview

      26 Jun 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Product School in Jun 2026

      Interview

This was quite possibly one of the worst interview experiences I've had. The entire process was marked by a lack of professionalism, organization, and communication. My call with the recruiter had to be rescheduled three times. The first two cancellations happened at the last minute with no advance notice. Despite these issues, I continued through the process and ultimately reached the final interview with the CEO, which was equally disappointing. Throughout the process, the recruiter was largely unresponsive. I frequently had to follow up myself to get answers to basic questions. Candidates were also expected to complete an extensive five-part case study with only two days' notice. Much of the assignment required written work, yet there was little guidance on how the final presentation should be structured or delivered. The final interview with the CEO felt unorganized and uncomfortable. There was no clear direction on how to present the case study, and I was asked to provide examples and materials that were not included in the original assignment. At various points, I was asked on the spot to pull up videos I had created and review competitors' Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok accounts without any prior indication that this would be part of the discussion. Overall, the interview process felt chaotic, poorly structured, and unnecessarily frustrating. For a company that presents itself as professional and candidate-focused, the experience fell far short of expectations.
