The interview process is very thorough, but I think it is important for HR to spend time to find the right candidate for the role. I applied through LinkedIn back in late July, and was then asked to complete the online assessment.
After I completed the assessment, I moved on to the phone interview. The phone interview was about 30 minutes, and consisted of the Targeted Selection style questions along with details about the position you are applying for. Some advice is to stay calm, and really just think back on specific examples. Don't try to rush an answer, because the whole point is to be as detailed as possible. At the end of the call, the recruiter advised me that I would be moving to the next step: background and in person interview.
After a few weeks, I finally had my interview on the morning of 9/7/16! The manager that I met with was very helpful in describing details of the position: he has also been with Progressive for 28 years, so to me, this shows that the company treats their employees well, and there is opportunity for growth. I feel that the interview was very relaxed, and if offered, this will be a fantastic opportunity for me. I should be hearing back soon, and hope for positive news to start a long term career with Progressive! Fingers crossed!
UPDATE
I received an offer, and have accepted to start on 10/10/16!
