I applied online. I interviewed at Progressive Insurance in May 2021
Interview
I have applied online and two day later got an email for an online assessment (there were math/personality questions and a call center simulation). After that i got an email for a second interview that had 8 STAR based questions and I had to record myself answering them. It wasnt too bad giving the fact that you are able to take breaks and re-record your answer if needed. Next day i got an email from recruiter with an invitation to schedule an interview with the hiring managers. Interview consisted of STAR questions and questions about my previous jobs. I had two hiring managers interviewing me they were very personable, friendly and genuinely interested in me and my past experiences. I enjoyed the whole process. It took 2 weeks from the time I applied to getting the offer.

Interview
Very impersonal and did not get to speak to someone in person everything was video recorded. It took a long time for them to finally decline my video interview. That's it

The interview process is pretty strenuous. You do have an assessment that you have to take. Before you get the in person interview. After you do the assessment you do have virtual star question method questions that you have to answer. If you don’t do well with that you won’t get the final interview with the recruiter or hiring person. Definitely study STAR questions. They’re kinda hard. And then the final interview they do ask you a few star questions as well. You can use the ones from your virtual interview. It was really easy-going though. I did appreciate how easy the conversation was for the final interview.
