Great communication and transparency from the Protenus talent team (particularly Zach), which is greatly appreciated in the current job martket. Fairly standard interview process, 1st with talent, then with hiring manager, then a panel with the head of CS, hiring manager, and a couple of peer-level employees. There was a take home assignment, which I did not love, but it was low pressure and not much more than a basic skills assessment. Salary expectations were communicated clearly and upfront, which again was very appreciated! Unfortunately the salary range was on the lower end compared to others in the market, but I had an overall great experience in my interviews and feel confident I would have loved working with the team at Protenus.
