I applied online. I interviewed at Providence (Missoula, MT) in May 2021
Interview
Initially things went fine. People were very kind and interested. The facility was great and seemed like a great place to work. However, that changed when they made the offer. $16.34 to start. This is below the industry average and average for the state. I asked that they take into account my prior medical field experience and the face that I hold two other certifications. I asked that they reconsider. I never heard back. No email. No phone call. RUDE! There are medical assistants in this town that make .50 more than their offer to start and these are people with little to now medical field experience and only one certification. Their HR is horrible. Their recruiters are not knowledgeable. Lastly, when the recruiter called (not the hospital HR, it was an outside recruiter) she told me they would need my medical records. I asked her if she meant proof of vaccinations and she said she didn't know. I told her I was not releasing my entire medical records/history to an employer because there is no need for them to have access to my medical records. She said she would have HR call me back. They never did.
