Interview
Always starts with an automated text interview for screening. The recruiter reviews them and determines whether to proceed with you or not. If selected, you'll interview with the hiring manager (and team members). As one who has hired staff, I knew I wasn't going to get the job in the first 10 minutes because it was obvious they were seeking a woman for the women-empowered team as evidenced by their expressions. I've also interviewed with Providence a few times. The recruiters are responsive but once they decline you, they go cold and treat you like you don't exist. You have to check the application portal for a status update - they won't notify you, the system doesn't produce an automated status update.

Tell me about a time you've made a mistake and what did you do?
Virtual meeting over teams. Typical interview questions were asked about prior work experience, strengths, weaknesses, etc with a few technical questions at the end. Nothing unexpected or unusual. The person I interviewed with was very friendly and personable
The individual who interviewed me was very conversational. It did not feel as though he was asking star method questions. I very much appreciated this. Also, the role that I was applying for a remote position.
