I had a virtual interview with 4 interviewers, 1 HR representative & 3 directors.
The interview started 30 minutes later than scheduled as they were interviewing earlier candidates. I appreciated that the HR representative sent an apology email while I was in the waiting lobby for 15 mins.
During the interview, some of the questions were not entirely clear to me at first. After I responded, two of the interviewers reacted by giggling, which came across as unprofessional and somewhat discouraging. It gave the impression that my answers did not meet their expectations, and the reaction felt dismissive.
On a more positive note, the HR representative and one of the other interviewers maintained a respectful and professional tone throughout the conversation, which I appreciated.
There is room for improvement in maintaining a respectful and supportive interview environment for candidates.
