Interview Experience: Unprofessional and Disorganized
I had two interviews with C-level executives, including one over the Christmas holidays because they were in such a rush to make a decision. After the interviews, I followed up, and they said decisions would be made in January.
I continued following up throughout January and February. The executive recruiter answered once to say he was waiting to hear back, but then stopped responding. The C-levels also never replied to my follow-up.
Ghosting a candidate—especially after multiple interviews with senior leadership and during the holidays—is incredibly unprofessional. A simple “We’re going in a different direction,” “The role is on hold,” or “We’re looking for more XYZ experience” would have been the bare minimum. Instead, radio silence.
If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine what working there is like.
