I was shortlisted for an HR interview over the phone. This was scheduled and I was informed this would be 15 minutes or so in duration. I counted 8 or 9 questions in total that I was asked, so it ended up being around 45 minutes - 1 hour long. I kept quiet regarding my view on this during the interview, but it is my opinion that it was unnecessarily misleading. Prospective employers should be upfront and honest with possible candidates. If they intend to ask that many questions and have a longer interview, candidates should be made aware of this in advance.
While there were then a couple of mitigating circumstances, it still took 5 WEEKS to hear back about whether I was successful in getting a face-to-face interview, as the next hiring process stage. This was absolutely appalling and is significantly longer than any other company has taken to get back to candidates. This whole experience has meant I will not be applying for roles at Pure Physiotherapy in the future.
