I was contacted by a member of the talent acquisition team for an initial conversation to understand my requirements and my availability period. I could initially not commit to starting in the timeframe they required someone, so we kept in touch until I was able to commit.
What's interesting with my scenerio is that I had been on a career break due to children, and they took this into account during the interview process which I appreciated. Some companies would not be so compassionate.
The first interview was an initial chat, followed by interviews with the hiring managers. These had two different approaches, one focused on the normal Q&A, trying to ascertain my experience but also my fit with their company values. The second approach was a conversational style interview which included questions also. This too was trying to ascertain my experience and my fit with the company.
As a return to worker and not fresh from a current position, they considered their approach and I think this is a credit to CTS.
