I applied through university. I interviewed at Quantilus in Sept 2011
Interview
Had a onsite interview where I was asked to solve a puzzle and then generalize the solution. After that I was told to write a code for the same. Also a lot of questions on my resume were asked.
I applied through university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Quantilus (New York, NY)
Interview
The first round was a technical assessment round. We were given a multiple choice 25 questions paper( Mostly GATE questions). Whether we cleared it or not everyone who attended the first round were called for the second round ( 1:1 interview). They had a brief presentation about the company in the conference room and during the face to face interview later, they told us that they are not a product development company of its own but a consulting firm, were they would train the students in a specific domain for a few months and then place them in their client companies, which they never mentioned before.
They marketed themselves as a product development company of its own but never mentioned that they are a consulting company. Not sure if they did it by mistake or on purpose.

In person interview, followed by a programming challenge that took a few hours. We were in a group and given a couple of algorithms - we solved them first as a group and were then asked to write code (in any language of our choice) to generate results.
