I applied online. I interviewed at Quick Fix Real Estate (Roanoke, VA) in Aug 2016
Interview
The first interview was by phone with the owner of the company. Then I was sent a couple of assessment tests by email to complete. Finally, and in person interview with the owner and Acquisitions Manager.
It ranged from casual, to semi-casual to formal. Each member of the team that I worked with added an element to the process that was unique but the idea that this was a team effort was always emphasized.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Quick Fix Real Estate (Roanoke, VA) in Feb 2016
Interview
I had a phone interview for at first and was called back to meet in person for a second interview. The phone interview was with Michael Cox, the owner. He did not seem very prepared which made for an awkward conversation. Fortunately, when I met in person for the second interview, he had brought in an employee to sit in. The other employee and I ran the entire interview and Michael did not have much to say. They offered me the job but I declined. The pay was VERY low and the benefits were terrible. They do not offer a retirement plan and they pay 50% of your insurance. They also give you 5 days of PTO and 4 paid holidays. All of that combined was enough for me to say no. The owner seemed very unprofessional as well. I told them I would like a written offer and a benefits summary and that I would let him know my decision by the end of the week. He wrote me a very messy email instead and text me before the end of the week asking me if I had made a decision.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I asked most of the questions but they did ask me where I saw myself in 5 years, tell me about your experience, and other typical questions.
