      General Counsel Interview

      I interviewed at Quovo

      Interview

I had an initial phone screen with HR who was very positive and enthusiastic and he had me advance to an on-site with the CEO and VP of Sales. The issue is at this point they wanted me to do a "contract assessment" and I was to discuss it during my on-site interview. I'm talking like 12+ hours of work just doing this exhaustive and long "test" in addition to any time spent researching the company and coming up with questions to ask. It was just asking for too much during the interview process. I appreciate there can be insecurity in non-attorneys hiring attorneys and their wanting to ensure the attorney they hire is competent, but subjecting them to a "test" of this nature is a waste of the candidate's time. It just left a negative impression on me and I decided not to proceed with the interview process.
