I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at R/GA
Interview
One of the strangest, most disrespectful agency interviews I've ever had. A deeply unprofessional recruiter who yelled on the phone made fun of my accent, and at one point, hung up on me. Creepy senior leadership who seemed more interested in flirting than actually talking about what the job involved. Got a lot of questions about my visa status, where I lived, and what I did on weekends, instead of about my skills and work experience. The team seemed deeply discriminatory and unwelcoming - a clique-y environment where you were more likely to rise up the ranks if you were a friend of senior leadership or had worked in the same agencies they had.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at R/GA (Singapore) in Sept 2022
Interview
met with a few members of the creative team and the account side, it was a very quick and easy conversation with the both of them. mostly vibe checks, nothing too serious, spoke about interests and all the usual stuff.
I applied through other source. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at R/GA (Melbourne) in Mar 2021
Interview
The interview process had 3 stages to it – first was a chat with my prospective line manager, then a meeting with two people in senior leadership, then a check-in with the MD.
