It was very easygoing and based a lot on how personable you are. Prior restaurant/job experience is most common, but not required. Very basic interview questions, and mainly just a good conversation.

I approached the cash register, and then was told to go sit in the restaurant. I waited for about a minute before the store's manager approached me and sat down. We had a short, but positive interview, and he offered me a job on the spot.

I walked into the store and told them I came to do an interview and they politely told me to take a seat and wait for the manager, once we started talking he asked me a few questions and had an overall good attitude and once the interview ended he told me my schedule.
